Azim Premji is an Indian technology billionaire who has a net worth of $21.1 billion. He is the founder of Wipro which is the largest software services company in India.
Premji is a university drop-out from Stanford in 1966. He dropped out of college in order to take care of his family’s cooking oil business.
He later converted that business into a technology company that is known as Wipro today.
Wipro owns an innovation cente in Silicon Valley whose focus is to work closely with startups and generate new technologies.
In July 2019, Wipro’s leadership was taken over by Premji’s son Richard.
