DAVID MWIRARIA IS DEAD!
David Mwiraria, the Former Kenyan finance Minister has succumbed to cancer at Karen Hospital in Nairobi.
David Mwiraria served as finance Minister under Mwai Kibaki administration from January 2003 to February 2006.
Resigned
David Mwiraria resigned under pressure for allegations of being involved in Anglo Leasing Scandal.
Later on Mwai Kibaki appointed him the Minister and for Environment and Natural Resources on 24th July, 2007.
Career highlights
Before David Mwiraria joined politics he served many years as a civil servant.
1992 – 2007: Member of Parliament for Imenti North Constituency.

Masters Degree in Statistics (1966) – Makerere University, Uganda
