Sharing is Caring

As the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) continue with vote tallying, Azimio la Umoja and United Democratic Alliance presidential agents also continue accusing one another of vote rigging.

They at a point took the show too far that Anti-riot police officers had to be deployed to calm the agents.

The show began when Azimio chief agent, Saotabap ole Kanchory, was blocked from entering the tallying area in Bomas.

Azimio agents in turn started shouting, which in turn led UDA agents join the show. Shouted insults were unbearable to the commission officials who have been on toes since Friday.

Kanchory despite the blocking, got himself in the tallying area after using some joules of energy. “I want to declare that this place is now a crime scene,” he said.

He then pulled a clerk from the counting desk, who had been accused of allegedly changing result forms arriving from the constituency.

“Arrest him. Arrest him,” Azimio leaders shouted. they also spotted an official behind a face mask with fake accreditation. This turned into a real riot forcing deployment of Anti-riot police officers.
