Following the declaration of William Ruto as the President-elect by the independent commission chair Wafula Chebukati, the four commissioners who distanced themselves with the results claim that the results had mathematical errors.

According to Cherera, the transparency of the tallying process turned off in the final stages of the process.

She claimed that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chair Wafula Chebulati came in with the final results without their knowledge.

The four commissioners were part of the commission from the kick off of the election process but distanced themselves from the final results of the Commission.

During the handing in of the presidential certificate to the president-elect William Ruto, they were not part of them and disowned the results.

Raila Odinga lost his presidential bid for the fifth time but he has said in a press conference that the results were manipulated.
