Wolves have completed the signing of forward Fabio Silva from Portuguese side Porto.

Wolves are reported to have paid £35.6M to sign Silva.

The 18-year-old has signed a five-year deal with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.

A statement on Wolves website read: ”Wolves are delighted to have secured the signing of highly-rated Portuguese youth international striker Fabio Silva from Porto, for a club record fee.

”The 18-year-old, who is Porto’s youngest ever player and goalscorer having broken now-Wolves teammate Ruben Neves’ club records last season, has put pen to paper on a five-year deal.”

Silva made a breakthrough to Porto’s senior side in 2019-20 season having helped the club win the UEFA Youth League in the 2018-19 campaign and holds the records for the Portuguese club’s youngest player and goalscorer.

He scored 3 goals in 20 appearances for Porto’s first-team.
