Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu is set to undergo surgery on the ruptured anterior ligament and torn meniscus he sustained in Watford’s 3-0 over Liverpool.
The Spaniard twisted his knee in the first half after a challenge with Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk.
Watford tweeted: ‘’Gerard Deulofeu is set for surgery after scans confirmed ruptured ACL and torn meniscus during the first half of our win over Liverpool. Come back Geri, we’re all with you’’

Watford FC boss Nigel Pearson has already confirmed that Deulofeu will not feature again this season for the Hornets.
