The Swiss Football League has been put on hold until March 23 after all the 20 football clubs met on Monday.

This comes after the Swiss government banned all events involving over 1,000 people until March 15th .The League will resume and continued as usual should the ban not be extended further.

Meanwhile, ICC Cup matches slated to take place in Asia this summer have been suspended due to the deadly virus.

The tournament sees teams from Europe play friendlies across North America, Asia, Europe and Australia.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs took part in the tournament last summer.
