Winger Ismaila Sarr has joined Watford Fc from French Ligue one club Rennes. He becomes the latest addition to Javi Garcia’s side ahead of the start of the 2019/2020 Premier League season. Watford Fc had earlier signed Craig Dawson, Tom Dele-Bashiru and Danny Welbeck.

The 21 year old Senegal international joins Watford in a club record fee of over £25M surpassing the £18.5M fee that the Hornets previously paid for Andre Gray in 2017.

Ismaila Sarr was part of the Senegal squad that reached AFCON 2019 final. He has played 18 times for Senegal National Team, appearing 3 times at the FIFA 2018 World Cup and then played regularly in the Lions of Teranga’s AFCON campaign.

At Roazhon Park, Ismaila Sarr played 77 times scoring 18 goals for Rennes. He made eye-catching displays against Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League earlier this year. His pace made him attract interest from various clubs.
