Following the move made by the Azimo la Umoja One Kenya coalition to challenge the presidential results, there might be disruption of the learning process  in learning institutions if Azimio emerge winners in the petition they are about to file.

Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha urged schools to adjust to the changes. He said that the government is made up of human beings and there will be no other shortcut but adhere to the direction from the coats after hearing.

William Ruto was declared the President elect by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson Wafula Chebukati. He was handed the presidential certificate as the winner by defeat his close opponent Raila Odinga.

Raila Odinga, the Azimio flag bearer said in a press briefing that he will challenge the presidential results in court. The coalition is yet to file a petition in court.

If they win the petition,  there will be a repetition of elections. This will again call for closure of school to allow the process.

The Azimio coalition claimed that the IEBC servers were hacked, leading to erroneous results. On the other side, the independent commission official also divided. 

Four of the divided commissioners claimed that they did not agree with the results that Chebukati announced. They later held a press conference at Serena hotel and claimed that the results had 0.01% error.

The whole election process was grateful and Kenyans were congratulated by other countries for maintaining peace and order.

William Ruto is waiting for swearing in together with his Deputy President elect Rigathi Gachagua.
