This is the latest in a series of rocket attacks in Iraq with the last one just days before the Pope is due to visit Iraq.
On Wednesday, the rockets targeted the Ain al-Asad air base located to the Northwest of Baghdad.
Iraq security forces are leading the investigations and response. Major General Tahseen al-Khafaji told media that no damage on the base was reported.
