Yusaka Maezawa, a Japanese fashion billionaire, well known for his publicity stunts is looking for 8 people to join him on a trip to the moon. The trip will be on Space X in 2023.
The billionaire shared the application details on Twitter and applicants from all over the world are welcome to apply.
Maezawa will cover the costs of those who qualify for the trip titled dearMoon. He became the first private passenger to book a ticket to the moon on SpaceX owned by Elon Musk in 2018. The amount he paid was not disclosed.
The voyage around the moon will take one week. The billionaire revealed that he has already bought all the seats and hence the trip will be private.
