Sarit Centre is a shopping mall which is located in Westlands, Nairobi and was opened in 1983. This was the first ever shopping mall to be opened in Kenya.
The mall opened in April 1983 with just two tenants (Uchumi Supermarkets and Textbook Centre). The supermarket closed in 2018 but Text Book Centre is still operational.
The shopping mall hosts supermarkets, restaurants, banks, gym, fashion shops and electronic shops among others.
Sarit Centre is made up of 6 floors with 74,000 square kilometers. Sarit Centre has a parking lot for 4,000 cars.
Sarit Centre is owned by Maneklal Rughani and Vindu Shah.
