Social movements have organized peaceful protests in Marrakesh, Morocco during the IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings for 2023.
Members of social movements sang songs of protests during their resistance summit for the IMF and World Bank Annual meetings.
They also carried posters with messages such as “Dignity Not Debt” to vividly pass the message to the policy makers congregating in Morocco.
The social movements are advocating for debt cancellation, restructuring and forgiveness for poor countries.
