Didmus Barasa, Kimilili Member of Parliament allegedly killed Brain Khaemba’s aide by shooting. Khaemba under Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) is Barasa’s opponent who wants to exit him from the seat.
The police have launched a haunt for the MP after the alleged kill at Chebukwabi polling station. It is reported that the two rivals were in the same polling station witnessing the vote counting.

It was when Khaemba was on the way to his car when Barasa’s four men ordered him not to leave. Khaemba declined the orders and went on boarding the car.
“Didmus Barasa withdrew a pistol and aimed at Mr Khaemba’s aide namely Brian Olunga and shot him on the forehead where he profusely bled.
“He was rushed to Kimilili Sub-County Hospital where he succumbed while undergoing treatment. Scene visited by the police accompanied by Scenes of Crime Personnel from Bungoma County, where the scene was processed and documented.” Police report stated.
Didmus Barasa should surrender to the police. If he shot and killed an innocent man the way it has been reported, he should serve the rest of his life in jail. The same way thug Babu Owino must also go to jail for life. No one is above the law.
