ORANGE BANK

The Orange Telcom of France has announced that they will launch their online banking services on July, 2017.

This announcement was made by Orange CEO Stephane Richard. Orange is the largest Telecom company in France. 

The company hopes that it will acquire 2 million customers over the next 10 years. The company is following the footsteps of companies offering online banking services in France such as ING Direct which boosts an excess of 1 million clients. 

The Orange clients will be able to transfer money using text to any Orange account holder. The company is planning to expand to loans and insurance later on. 

To create an account, you visit the Orange Bank website or visit any of the 140 Orange Stores in France. 

The Orange Bank does not charge any fees for its transactions. Even non Orange members can use the services. 

In April 2016, Orange Telcom acquired 65 percent of Groupama Banque. This means Orange is a majority shareholder.
