The President, Human Rights Council announced who will be the next UN Special Rapporteur on Minority Issues.
Mr. Nicolas Levrat has been proposed for appointment as Special Rapporteur on minority issues.
Other recommended for appointment are:
- Mr. Ben Saul (Australia) – Promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms while conducting counter terrorism;
- Ms. Anna Triandafyllidou (Greece) – SR on Human Rights of migrants;
- Ms. Cecilia Bailliet (Argentina) – Independent Expert on human rights and international solidarity
