Nakuru County: MCA’s  express disappointment over drug crisis.

Kerosi here. MCAs in Nakuru do not want nonsense. They have breathed smoke and fire on learning that there are no drugs in Nakuru County hospitals. Below is an excerpt from the daily nation on this matter.

Public hospitals have been plunged into crisis over lack of drugs despite a Sh 751 million budget. Furious Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) yesterday demanded an explanation from the county executive on why public hospitals had gone without medicine for the past seven months despite the millions allocated in the current budget. The MCAs who adjourned normal sittings to discuss the matter said many patients had been turned away by the hospitals due to lack of drugs and other pharmaceutical products. – Daily nation newspaper (16/02/2018)
