The father of the serial killer, Robert Wanjala, asked government to help in the burial of Masten Wanjala.
“Ningeomba tu hata serikali wanisaidie kwa sababu mimi sijiwezi, sina nyuma wala mbele, ningeomba tu wanisaidie, baada ya shugli kuisha, mtoto wangu waniletee mimi mwenyewe nizike,” Robert Wanjala said.
According to Citizen Digital, Masten Wanjala used the curfew confusion and escaped the cell at Jogoo Road Police Station in Nairobi.
According to the police, Masten Wanjala confessed to killing more than 10 children. He murdered and buried the bodies of his victims.
