Locusts- a biblical plague- which happened during the time of Moses- as he tried to assist the Israelites get into Canaan- is devastating Kenyans.
This is the first time in 70 years that Kenya is experiencing a desert locust outbreak. Food security – one of the big four agenda – is at risk of being derailed and the possibility of attaining the same by 2022 is high.
These insects have made the villagers to be on high alert and engage in a shouting match as it can be seen in the video below shared by Geoffrey Kerosi on Instagram.
