Liverpool FC thrash Norwich City in Premier League opener

Liverpool FC started their premier League campaign with a 4-1 win over Norwich at Anfield. Goals from Mohammed Salah, Virgin Van Dijk, Divock Origi and an own goal from Norwich FC captain Grant Hanley were enough to secure a win for Liverpool FC. Teemu Pukki scored a consolation goal for Norwich City FC.

Despite the win, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker suffered an injury in the first half and had to be replaced by new signing Adrian. He will undergo a scan to determine the extent of the injury.

Norwich city FC have been busy signing new players although none of the signings started at Anfield. They are likely to make changes to their squad in their next game.

Liverpool FC Manager Jurgen Klopp said he was worried about Allison’s injury who was a key figure in Liverpool’s 2018-2019 eye catching season. He confirmed that the Brazilian will not take part in the UEFA Super cup to be played on Wednesday next week in Instanbul against Chelsea.

Liverpool FC will be hoping to continue with their impressive performances every week to be able to challenge for the Premier League title that they won 30 years ago. They are eager to push for the title which they missed out to Manchester City last season by a point.
