Rekha Jhunjhunwala has a net worth of $8.7 billion. She inherited some stock portfolio from her late husband Rakesh Jhunjhunwala who was popularly known as India’s Warren Buffet.
The late Jhunjhunwala was an investor with a midas touch died at the age of 62 on August 2022. One of the family’s most shares are held in Titan of Tata Group which a jewelry maker. The late husband also had invested heavily in Metro Brands, Star Health and Allied Insurance.
He husband had also invested on Akasa Air which is a low cost airline before he passed on to glory.
They traded on stocks using their company known as Rare Enterprises. Her husband started investing in 1985 while still in college with a capital of $100.
Rekha pursued a degree in education at Mumbai University in India. In 1987, she chose to marry the “Big Bull” of Indian stock market, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.
Rekha lives at RARE villa residence and together they had three children: Nishtha, Aryaveer and Aryaman.
