The IEBC Commissioners are slit on the final tallying of presidential election results. Four of the commissioners disagreed and allegedly refused to sign the final results.
Below is the full statement read by Commissioner Juliana Cherera of IEBC on behalf of the four dissenting commissioners:
“We have done the 2022 General Elections in the most effective and …we have done a good job. But somethings need to be put out there. As you can see, the four of us we are here not at Bomas of Kenya where the results is going to be announced because of the opaque nature of how this phase has been handled.”
