A Dutchman who sired 550 children before being sued over incest claims is now planning to start a family of his own. Jonathan Jacob Meijer has children all over the world. Out of the 550 children, 375 live in Netherlands, 80 in Germany, 35 in Belgium, 4 in Argentina and 2 Australia.
Jonathan Jacob Meijer, 42, was registered as a sperm donor from 2007. He had donated sperms to 11 clinics at sperm bank. He also joined Facebook groups where women and couples who want kids.
Jonathan was ordered to stop donating sperm to women and couples. He now faces massive fines if it is discovered that he lied to the masses. It is reported that he is likely to face huge fines if found guilty.
‘Yes, I lied to the women. That was wrong. I wanted to help them,’ he said.
‘I like to meet them. But emotionally, they feel more like my nephews and nieces.
‘Otherwise, it would be too much for me.’
He said when asked by Germany media about his hundreds of children.
His sperm donations were sold for £1,100 each. However, Jonathan alleged that he donates his sperms for free.
‘I don’t ask for anything, but sometimes I receive £64, a plane ticket, or a camera as a gift,’ he told media.
One mum of child conceived by Jonathan sued him in court citing that his actions increased the risk of incest.

‘Many mothers have told him he needs to stop, but nothing helps. So going to court is the only option I have to protect my child.”
A court in The Hague, Netherlands, ruled that he is banned from donating his sperm. If he goes against that ruling, he will be fined 100,000 euro (£85,000).
‘In addition, he violates the agreements with the clinics and with the prospective parents, because they trusted his promise that he would father a maximum of 25 children.’
