A Dutch Musician has been dragged to court to be forced to stop his “obsessive” sperm donation.
He is alleged to have fathered 550 children though sperm donation. Jonathan Jacob Meijer, 41, has misled hundreds of women around the globe according to Donorkind Foundation which has taken him to court.
In 2017 the Dutch Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology banned Jonathan who is a resident of Hague, Netherlands from donating sperms because he had already fathered 102 children at 10 different clinics.
Jonathan continued siring children through websites services abroad. He also used social media as reported by a Dutch news website AD.
‘Many mothers have told him he needs to stop, but nothing helps. So going to court is the only option I have to protect my child.’
‘He has a global reach via internet and he does business with large, international sperm banks.’
‘In addition, he violates the agreements with the clinics and with the prospective parents, because they trusted his promise that he would father a maximum of 25 children.’
