The Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Noordin Haji’s home at Riverside has been robbed by thugs. The police have already started an investigation.
The interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi said a special team has been given the task on investigating the case and find those involved.
“I don’t want to make sideline comments on a matter as sensitive as that has happened as investigations are ongoing,” Matiangi said.
Haji said among the properties that were stolen includes; a laptop, Tv set and shoes. Despite the house being guarded by police officers, the thugs still managed to get away with the properties.
The police who were on duty that day could not hear a anything, only Haji’s son to discover some items missing in the house.
The guards on duty during the theft will be questioned.
