The pharmaceutical company was established in 1984 by one Anji Reddy who was the son of a farmer. The main purpose of the company is to manufacture pharmaceutical ingredients and generic drugs.
Reddy Laboratories is run by Satish Reddy and G.V. Prasad the two are chairman and co-chairman respectively.
More than 1/3 of the company revenues come from North America. Sonu Sood (actor and fitness enthusiast) was signed as the brand ambassador for the company’s dehydrating electrolyte drink known as Rebalanz Vitors.
