He is the owner of Linfox which is the biggest private logistics company and operates in 12 countries in Asia Pacific.

 

Linfox operates over 5,000 trucks some of which are electric. These trucks cover over 450 million kilometers delivering essential goods every year. The fleet includes trailers, prime movers, tankers and road trains. Linfox upgrades their trucks and equipment regularly. They renew their fleet every three years to take advantage of the newest technologies.

 

The Linfox vehicles are always kept clean at all major sites. It takes 40 minutes to wash a single truck.

 

The company has also invested in industrial property, two airports and Armguard which does currency management.

Lindsay Fox

Lindsay Fox owns Luna Park in Melbourne which is an amusement park. He owns over 100 vintage cars, four homes and a race track.

 

At age 16, Lindsay Fox dropped out of school and became a truck driver because of his lack of academic interest. He purchased his first truck at age 19 in 1956 and started his logistics company Linfox.

 

By the end of the 1990s’ Lindsay Fox operated 3,000 trucks. In 1997, Lindsay Fox purchased the Avalon Airport and in 2001 he acquired the Essendon Airport.
