Wilfried Zaha hands in a transfer request at Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace and Ivory Coast forward Wilfried Zaha has handed in a transfer request. This is a clear indication that the striker wants a new challenge elsewhere. The transfer window shuts down tomorrow at 5PM.

Arsenal FC and Everton FC have been previously shown interest in signing Zaha but Palace have held out on £100M. Palace rejected a £40M bid from Arsenal and has also rejected two bids from Everton. It remains unclear whether Palace will relent on their valuation of the Ivory Coast international before the transfer window shuts down tomorrow.

The 26 year old has established himself as one of the best strikers in the premier league since signing from Manchester United in February 2015. He can play both as a forward and a winger. He offers more threat when he plays as a forward. He has scored 35 goals in 144 appearances for Palace.
