Watford have signed midfielder Pape Gueye from Ligue 2 side Le Havre on a five year deal.
The 21-year-old’s contract with Watford will be effective from 1st July 2020.
Gueye’s contract with Le Havre was to expire in the summer but Ligue 2 was cancelled on Tuesday after France Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced ban on all sporting events until September.
The Hornets have confirmed that ‘’an official pre-contract agreement has already been lodged’’ for the French youth International.
