Watford FC came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Arsenal in a premier League match that was played at the Vicarage Road Stadium today evening. The match attracted over 21,000 fans.

Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring in the 21st minute before adding the second in the 32nd minute. The game headed into halftime Arsenal leading 2-0.

Former Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverly scored the first goal for the Hornets 8 minutes into the second half. Substitute Roberto Pereyra scored the equalizing goal in the 81st minute through a penalty.

Centre Referee Antony Taylor showed six players yellow cards. The players include Sead Kolasinac, Matteo Guendouzi, Bernard Leno, Jose Holebas, Kiko Femenia and Etienne Capoue.

The draw places Arsenal at 7th place in the League table with 8 points. Watford remain at the bottom of the Premier League table with two points.

The today’s match was Quique Sanchez Flores first match as Watford manager after his appointment during the International break.

Arsenal’s next Premier League fixture will be against newly Promoted Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium on 22nd September. Before that, they will play a Europa League group fixture against Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt on 19th September.

Watford will face Manchester City on 21st September in their next Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium. They are hoping to win to move out of the relegation zone.

In another Premier League match that was played today, AFC Bournermouth beat Everton 3-1 in a match that was played at the Vitality Stadium.
