Professor George Wajackoyah, presidential candidate for Roots Party, has pulled out of the 2022 Presidential Debate.
The Roots Party revealed this in a press statement indicate that their candidate will not show-up at the debate which is scheduled to take place at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) from 4.00 PM – 10.00 PM.
“The notion that some candidates are trailing others or some leading others is baseless. We refuse to be counted as ‘,hers” in this important democratic duty of seeking the presidency,” the Roots Party statement read in part.
“We would like to however state that our candidate is available to share the same podium with all the four presidential candidates as we define out agenda to all Kenyans,” Roots Party concluded.
