A video of the interim president of Guinea, Mamady Doumbouya, talking a walk with his sons in a company of hundreds of heavily armed soldiers has gone viral.
Doumbouya is a military officer who has been the interim president of Guinea since 1 October 2021. He led a coup on 5 Sep 2021 and overthrew the then President Alpha Conde.
Mamady is a member of the Guinean Special Forces Group as well as a former French legionnaire.
