Spurs striker Troy Parrott has joined Championship side Millwall on loan for the 2020-21 season.

The 18-year-old made his debut for Tottenham the EFL cup defeat to Colchester in September.

Parrott signed a three-year contract with Tottenham in February.

A switch to Millwall FC will expose him to regular first-team football.

He follows into the footsteps of Harry Kane, who spent the second part of the 2011-12 season on loan at Millwall.

‘’I’m buzzing to get straight into things, I’m really looking forward to it,” Parrott told Millwall FC website.

“The crowd, the club itself – I’ve heard a lot of good things. When I’ve watched games, the littlest of things gets them going, and I want to be a part of something like that.

“It’s not hard to see from the outside that all [the supporters] are looking for is someone to give 100 per cent every game.”

The 2020-21 Premier League and Championship season will start on September 12.

Parrott has represented Republic of Ireland in the Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 levels.

He made his full international debut against New Zealand last year.
