Caroline started as an elementary school teacher while Craig worked in the construction industry. The two are ambassadors for PrAna and Allianz Travel. The family started by road trip around Australia. Now they are traveling around the US full time also. The secret to these bloggers’ success include: writing epic content which is sharable because they are in-depth. Secondly, it is important to create expertise in a region. Provide a lot of content on a particular country in order to rank better for that particular region. The couple outsources a lot of tasks or use premium tools that helps them to grow and get the highest ROI. Take photos, gather information, go hiking, kayaking, shoot videos and write content for the blog. Their advice to upcoming travel bloggers is to write genuine travel experiences.
Their top 3 income streams are: advertising, affiliate income and brand partnership. In addition to that they make money from sponsored posts, freelance writing, social media promotions, speaking gigs and selling their own products.
