Paris St Germain Head Coach Thomas Tuchel has hailed Marco Verratti as a world class midfielder.
This comes after the 26 year old penned a new five year deal with the Ligue One Champions.
Marco Verratti has established himself as a key member of the PSG squad since moving to the side from Italian Club Pescara in 2012.
Tuchel praised the midfielder ahead of their trip to Dijon.
‘’As I often said, Marco is very important. He’s a key player. He’s one of the best midfielders in the world. There is always room for improvement but he is highly reliable. He has loads of responsibilities in the group. He always thinks about others and their happiness. He’s a team player. Coaching Marco is the best that can happen to a coach.’’ Said Tuchel.
Tuchel also talked about Verratti’s mindset.
‘’I am delighted to be his coach. I’m really pleased he’s with us because he’s an extraordinary player with a very rare mindset. I think that everybody is happy he’s with us.’’ Tuchel Said ahead of their trip to bottom side Dijon
