It seems that over a sudden prices of essential goods have shot to the roof. A 2-kg of sugar is now retailing at Ksh. 385 or there about at our local supermarkets. What a fuck is happening?
This is a mystery considering that the National Treasury promised that no taxes will be increased. What then is causing the inflation in prices of basic goods.
Maize Flour
Now we can’t enjoy our favorite Ugali. Why? Because its price is too high for the common man. Soon eating ugali is going to be a luxury courtesy of uncontrollable inflation.
What next?
I am going to spend most of this week investigating these events and the cause of inflation which is staring at us. I’ll keep you updated with my findings every single day. I’ll start by looking at the taxes, interview experts and make my conclusions.
It’s so sad that we cannot be left in peace to enjoy our favorite dishes!!!
