Reims beat French Ligue one defending Champions Paris Saint Germain 2-0 in a French Ligue one match that was played yesterday night at the Parc des Princes. The match attracted over 47,000 fans.
Reims French midfielder Hassane Kamara opened the scoring in the 29th minute. The game headed into halftime with Reims 1-0 up. Reims wrapped up the victory by adding the second goal in the 90th minute through Forward Boulaye Dia.
Despite the loss, Paris St Germain dominated the match with an average ball possession of 64% compared to Reims’ 36. PSG managed a total of 8 shots compared to Reims 11.
Despite 5 shots on target, Paris St Germain were unable to make a breakthrough through the Reims defence. Reims managed 3 shots on target of which two were converted to goals.
