Sharing is Caring

According to Julian Brown, South African author, citizens use protests to assert their ability to act outside the confines of formal political order of elections, service delivery and representation.

The author tells a story of protest and insurgent citizenship. South African citizens made alliances with the Civil Society Organizations to demand for change.

They used courts to challenge poor governance.  These are some of the strategies to disrupt order in politics in order to effect material change.
