Sometimes parents get so distant from their children and end up being strangers. Being close the child will enable you know the strengths and weaknesses of the kid. It will also open a link so for the child to communicate easily to the parent. This saves the child from much trouble.

Parents should outline some of the consequences that can be the outcome of certain decisions. A decision is always made but what matters is the consequence. The consequence can either be positive or negative.
