P. Reddy & P.V. Krishna Reddy have a net worth of $4 billion. P.P. Reddy was a farmer’s son who founded Megha Engineering Enterprises which was used to build small pipes for municipalities in 1989.

 

The company has 7000 employees on their payroll and operates in an excess of 15 states across India.

 

Later he went into construction of natural gas distribution networks, irrigation, dams, roads and power plants.

 

The company’s name was changed in 2006 to Megha Engineering & Infrastructures. In 1991, Krishna Reddy (nephew) joined and runs the company.

 

Megha also set up the largest lift irrigation project in Telangana state which is valued at $14 billion. The project commenced operations in 2019. The company has turned barren land fertile through irrigation. They have up to 20,000 hectares of land under irrigation across India.

 

The company is also in the business of power production, transmission and distribution in India. They produce solar, thermal and hydro power.

 

The company constructs roads and railway lines, storm water drainage, hospitals, water supply systems, solid waste management, street lighting and solar power plants in India.

 

Olectra Greentech which is a subsidiary acquired its subsidiary from BYD of China. It has an order of an excess 3,000 buses. Megha also has projects in Kuwait, Zambia, Bangladesh and Tanzania.
