Sharing is Caring

Festus Keyamo, the Nigerian Minister of State for Labour and Employment, was criticized for distributing wheelbarrows and cutlasses as a means of empowerment. He has responded to that criticism.

Over the weekend, he was in Delta state to kick off the launch of the Special Public Works Programme.

Nigerians were disappointed that such archaic tools can be distributed in 2021 and dragged him for it.

Nigerian Twitter users indicated that the government should have distributed modern machines that can still do the jobs the cutlasses and wheelbarrows and do.
