Holland Head Coach Ronald Koeman is positive about Memphis Depay’s recovery from a knee injury ahead of Euro 2020.

The Lyon winger suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament in December 2019, putting him in doubt for the upcoming European competition.

Koeman is positive about the 26-year old’s recovery.

‘’We have had a regular contact. I went to him in Rome. I know about his recovery. It looks positive. It’s a long way for him still.’’ Koeman told a news conference after the draw for the UEFA Nations League.

‘’We don’t have the certainty he will make the Euro’s.He has a long way to go. Time will tell if he will be fit.’’ He added.

Depay scored 14 times and assisted twice in 18 games for Lyon before his injury.

Netherlands have been grouped with Ukraine and Austria in the UEFA Nations League draw.
