Argentinean striker Mauro Icardi has left Serie A club Inter Milan for French Ligue one club Paris Saint Germain on a season long loan.

Paris Saint Germain paid an initial fee of 5M Euros and have an option to buy Icardi permanently at the end of the season for 65M Euros.

Mauro Icardi seemed to be out of favor of Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte. The Italian manager left Mauro Icardi out of his squad.

Antonio Conte signed Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United.

Icardi’s relationship with Inter Milan started to degenerate in February when former Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalleti tripped him off the Captain role.

The 26 year old will earn about 5M Euros for the season at Le Parc des Princes. AS Roma, Napoli and Juventus were initially interested in signing him.

Paris Saint Germain were keen to bolster their attack before the end of the transfer window following injuries to strikers Kylian Mbappe and Edison Cavani during their win against Toulouse last weekend.

Mauro Icardi’s squad number at Paris Saint Germain will be 18.
