Matteo Darmian to join Parma

Manchester United flop Matteo Darmian is set to leave Manchester united for Serie A Club Parma FC on a permanent deal. A fee of about £1.4M has already been agreed by both clubs.

Manchester United have made a loss of about £11.5M since the Italian right back joined the Red devils in a £12.9M deal from Serie A Club Torino in 2015.

Matteo Darmian has not made any appearance for the Red devils this season and has fallen out of favor at the club. Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer favors new signing Aaron Wan Bissaka and Diogo Dalot at the right back position.

The 29year old defender will join Romelu Lukaku, Antonio Valencia, Ander Herrera, Alexis Sanchez and Chris Smalling in leaving the club.

Romelu Lukaku joined Inter Milan on a permanent deal, Ander Herrera left for Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer, Chris Smalling has left for AS Roma on loan, Alexis Sanchez has joined Inter Milan on a season-long loan and Antonio Valencia was released after the club decided against renewing his contract.
