Manchester United became the first Premier League team to reach 2000 goals in the English Premier League when midfielder Scott McTominay scored against Norwich City on Sunday.

The 22 year old is a product of the Manchester United academy and he scored the first goal for the Red Devils 21 minutes into the game with the visitors winning 3-1 at full time.

Arsenal are second with a total of 1860 goals. Liverpool are third with 1795 and Chelsea fourth with 1793.

Mark Hughes scored the first Premier League goal for Manchester United in August 15 1992 in a 2-1 loss to Sheffield United.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the 1000th goal for the Red Devils in October 2005 when he scored a consolation goal in a 4-1 loss to Middlesbrough.
