Liverpool to face Arsenal in the Premier League
Last season’s premier League Runners up Liverpool are set to play Arsenal tonight at the Anfield Stadium. Both teams head into today’s fixture having won all their two opening fixtures of the season. Liverpool have already thrashed Norwich and Southampton while Arsenal has recorded victories against Newcastle and Burnley.
Anfield has not been a happy ground for the Gunners in the recent seasons, with Arsenal Losing 5-1 in their most recent visit. Liverpool have also played more than 40 premier league games without losing at home.
Liverpool head into today’s match with three players unlikely to be involved due to injury. Alisson Becker, Nathaniel Clyne and Naby Keita are unlikely to be involved.
Arsenal players Hector Bellerin, Konstantinos Mavropanos and new signing Kieran Tierney are injured. Granit Xhaka, Mesuit Ozil and Rob Holding will be assessed as they build up their fitness.
