There are hot springs along the shores of Lake Elementaita. People enjoy washing their feet in them. However, I noted that the lake is shrinking unlike the other Rift Valley lakes which are rising.
For instance, chunks of land has been submerged around Lake Bogoria in Baringo. Recently, Lake Naivasha displaced people who live near its shores.
