Professor Paul Wainaina, Kenyatta University Vice Chancellor has resigned following his opposition to cede land for setting up of a WHO logistics hub.
Prof. Paul Wainaina was order to surrender the University title deed to Joseph Kinyua, the Head of Public Service.
University Council has been replaced and a new team set up to run the affairs of the institution.
Recently, during the ground breaking ceremony, President Uhuru Kenyatta criticized the university for opposing plans to build a WHO emergency hub on the land next to Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital.
