A total of 212 people have tested positive for coronavirus from a sample size of 3,973 in the past 24 hours, CAS Rashid Aman has announced.
In a press statement from Homabay County, Dr Rashid Aman said 14 of the new cases were foregn nationals and the rest were Kenyans.
This now raises the number of confirmed cases in the country to 34,705 from 463,499 samples tested so far.
195 more patients have recovered bringing the total number of recoveries to 20,644.
The virus has claimed four more lives raising the death toll to 585.
