The Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams were released today. 

 

 

In order to access the exam results, you are advised to send the candidate index number to short code 20076. The service charges Ksh. 25 per sms. 

 

 

Magata Bruce Makenzie is the top student this year. He scored 428 marks. On the second position is Momanyi Ashley Kerubo. 

 

Bruce McKenzie beat over 1.2 million other candidates to emerge on the top of the best performers of the KCPE 2021 examinations. He was a pupil at Gilgil Hills Academy. 

 

Position three was shared by six candidates. 

The top student is named after Bruce McKenzie, “a South African-born Kenyan politician and the only white Minister in Kenya’s Independence Cabinet. He died in 1978 from a plane crash in Ngong Hills on his way back from meeting Uganda President Idi Amin,” Gabriel Oguda.
